The horse is hand painted and made of sturdy molded plastic or fiber glass. Although it is no longer a "toy", it will add a special touch to a nursery or play room or to display in your home. It would also make a wonderful gift for a doll collector. The horse shown has been sold. But if you like that one, just let me know and I can paint yours just like it. The price is $400.00 plus crating, shipping, handling, and insurance (estimated at $45.00 for Continental USA destinations) When you order, specify your desired color scheme including color of pole & stand (stain, white, gold, other), base color, mane & tale, saddle, etc. Another choice is a different method of "dappling". Instead of the gold "patches" shown in the first four pics, you may desire the gold "squigglies" shown in the bottom pic. To really make your carousel horse a conversation piece, I will connect the squigglies in two or three places to form complete hearts. Your guests will enjoy trying to locate the hearts.
